Alvin Ailey Poster

In the winter of 2025, I designed a promotional poster for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Using all of the provided text, my goal was to create a layout that was both visually pleasing and inspiring. I centered the design around a beautiful image of a dancer in a gold dress found on the company’s website and developed color studies to find a palette that complemented the photo’s vibrant yellow background. I ultimately chose a warm red scheme and incorporated a meaningful quote from the company to emphasize its mission and guide the viewer’s eye with purpose.
